U11: Earlier Start Tomorrow!!

Tomorrow's U11 game will start at 9:45, rather than 10:00.  Please plan to arrive at 9:15.

No practice for either team this weekend.  Both teams have games.  

For this weekend, Mark will be picking up the training shirts tomorrow.  We will play in training shirts for the first game while we wait for uniforms to come in.  Please where black shorts and white socks if possible.  

We have another confirmed game for U12.  Home game (Tremont) against Columbus Alliance, Saturday 9/19 at 6PM

We have 4 girls who are technically U10 on the U11 team.  There has been some concern about playing time for them, since we have such a large roster on that team.  OCL allows for "guest play", where teams can borrow players from other teams.  Mark has made contact with a Dublin U10 that is short of girls.  We may be able to arrange some U10 games where our younger girls "guest play" with players from that team, or vice versa.

Update on Carding and Uniforms and our home field

All the documents for U12 carding have been turned in.  We'll turn that over to the league tomorrow or Monday.

I still have a few documents to go for the U11s.  I have pictures for everyone.  There are 4 kids without birth certificates, and 7 kids with no signed OCL documents.

Uniforms have been ordered.  They may not make it here in time for the first game.  Mark has ordered T-shirts with numbers that we'll be able to use for that first game.

Home games will be played on the field behind Tremont where practices are held.  We'll be asking for volunteers to help us set up the goals and line the field.  I'll send out notice when we've established a time to do that.  Maybe next Saturday??

Welcome!

I'm starting this blog to provide a means of communication to parents in UASA.  The primary means of communication will still be email from the coaches or from me.  But I will post important information such as schedules here.  I will try to post any announcements that come out from Coach Wise or Coach Molly here too.

This is still under construction, but I will build it out as we go.  Feedback is welcome.
